SUMMARY: Will be responsible for all equipment work to maintain orchard. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Responsibilities include daily safety/function checks on all equipment and accessories along with an extensive check on all functions and fluids; Operating all equipment in a safe manner; Using appropriate equipment to finish the job; Reporting any damage or malfunction to supervisor; Staying in constant communication while in field; Working hours required to complete the job on hand; Ability to work with heavy pieces of equipment; Ability to make minor repairs. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED, or three months related experience and or training; Ability to read and comprehend chemical labels; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; Ability to make adjustments while in the field; Work with heavy and dangerous equipment; Work hours required to finish job; Must have valid driver’s license.
